Drivers & Tools

For those who are new to DVD you may not be aware that DVD software and hardware is regionally coded. That is to say that if you live in one part of the world, say the UK, you may not be able to play a DVD bought in another country on your DVD player. However there are many ways round this, PC DVD is usually the easiest to get round. DVD-ROM drives usually only need a firmware update and a crack for the DVD player software or MPEG decoder hardware. Whereas many standard off the shelf DVD players need to be modified internally for you. This is best left to the professionals. There are plenty of companies offering multi-region modifications on the web, some of which you can link to from my DVD Retailers page.

Below you will find links to driver downloads for your PC DVD solution. Please note that if you have a machine from a large PC supplier such as Dell or Compaq, it is best to visit their website for the latest drivers and software updates.

Note that by downloading any of these drivers you are agreeing to the manufacturers licensing terms. Please visit their respective website for details.
